Specifically, ClaimMaster enables you to detect part names and numbers in the specification, edit them, and also to use auto-complete\/auto-suggest to quickly enter part names as you are typing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"schema-how-to wp-block-yoast-how-to-block\"><p class=\"schema-how-to-description\">Follow these steps to edit part names\/numbers in the specification and enable auto-complete of part names.  <br\/><br\/><\/p> <ol class=\"schema-how-to-steps\"><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1592841923668\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Launch Part Number Editing Tool<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">From the ClaimMaster tab, click on the\u00a0<strong>Individual Tools<\/strong>\u00a0menu, then select\u00a0<strong>Check\/Edit Part Numbers in Text:<\/strong><br\/><br\/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"368\" height=\"324\" src=\"https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/NewItem797.png\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"part number menu\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/NewItem797.png 368w, https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/NewItem797-300x264.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 368px) 100vw, 368px\" \/><br\/><br\/>This will start the parsing process during which ClaimMaster will go through the document identifying part names and numbers.<br\/><br\/><\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1593119985568\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\">Switch To Drafting View<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">In the window that shows up on the right side of the screen, switch to the <strong>Drafting View<\/strong>. The &#8220;Drafting View&#8221; in the dialog that comes up. The \u201cDrafting View\u201d lets you create a dictionary of reference terms and add them to the document as you type.<br\/><br\/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"422\" height=\"186\" src=\"https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/2020-06-26_13-36-38-1.png\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"drafting view\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/2020-06-26_13-36-38-1.png 422w, https:\/\/www.patentclaimmaster.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/2020-06-26_13-36-38-1-300x132.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><br\/><br\/>Doing so will present you with a table view of the listed parts, whether they appear in claims and\/or figures. This is helpful to speed up drafting, especially if you have many long part names.<br\/><br\/>To use auto-complete, type in \u201c\/\/\u201d followed by a part number and press space.
