Viewing Document Map

ClaimMaster lets you quickly launch and customize Navigation pane in Microsoft Word, which displays document sections according to the outline/heading level of each paragraph.  In particular, ClaimMaster lets you insert outline levels into your document based on the headings specific to patent applications, so that you can quickly navigate the resulting outline of your document (including claims and figure descriptions) in the Navigation pane, as shown below:

Getting Started

To open/close Word's Navigation pane, perform the following steps:

• From the ClaimMaster Ribbon, click on the top part of the Navigation Tools -> Document Map menu or click on the Show Document Map option.

• In Word 2003 or earlier - this feature is not available in Word 2003.
