Search document text (citations)
Searching document for citations to specific text
ClaimMaster can help you search the currently opened Word document for terms or phrases. This feature is based on the Word’s internal search function, but also provides you with a table and highlighted citations to all of the term occurrences in the document, such as shown below. The search also finds all word forms, so if you search for “serv”, it will find “serve”, “server”, and “service.”
Getting Started
To search for citations of a particular term, perform the following steps:
- In Word 2007 or later - from the ClaimMaster Ribbon, click on the Time-Saving Tools menu, then select Search Document for Text (with citations):
- In Word 2003 or earlier - from the ClaimMaster toolbar, click on the Time-Saving Utilities menu, then select Search Document for Text (with citations):
Feature Options
Once this feature is launched, enter the term or phrase you wish to search for and press "Find citations in document" button.
