Splitting up applications into specification, claims, and abstract sections

ClaimMaster lets you split up an application in Word format into 3 separate files (specification, claims, and abstract) for uploading these documents using EFS-Web.  The tool will split up the currently open Word document. Note that the tool expects your document to have the Specification section, followed by the Claims section, followed by the Abstract section.  The tool also allows you to inspect the document for various ETS-Web informalities, such as the presence of metadata, redlines, exceeding the allowed Abstract word count, etc.

Getting Started

  • From the ClaimMaster Ribbon, click on the Time-Saving Tools menu, then select Split-up Application for EFS-Web Upload
