Comprehensive proofreading reports

ClaimMaster provides predefined, one-click "comprehensive" reports for claims, Office Action responses, and patent applications. All comprehensive reports can be generated in HTML, Word, PDF, or Word sidebar formats.

These reports provide the following in-depth proofreading checks:

    • Comprehensive claims/Office Action response report - identifies all of the potential issues with the claims in the document. Specific checks include claim numbering, amendments and status identifier errors, missing or ambiguous antecedents, and stylistically problematic or limiting terms in claims.
    • Comprehensive claims/Office Action response report with a separate specification file - identifies all of the potential issues with the claims in the document. Specific checks include claim numbering, amendments and status identifier errors, missing or ambiguous antecedents, and stylistically problematic or limiting terms in claims. Also checks for claim terms missing support in the separately provided specification file or the specification downloaded for the published US patent application #.

Specific checks include claim numbering, amendments and status identifier errors, missing or ambiguous antecedents, claim terms missing support in the specification, inconsistently used or numbered parts, acronym issues, and stylistically problematic or limiting terms in claims and specification. In addition, depending on whether you select the "with figures" or "without figures" option, the software may also check figures corresponding to the application for any part numbering inconsistencies.
