MS Word Side Bar /Task Pane Report

The sidebar/task pane report presents all identified issues inside a Word side-window, normally inside Word's task pane. You can click on individual errors/warnings inside the window and corresponding issues will be selected in the open Word document.  Use tabs at the top of the sidebar to switch between different types of proofreading reports (e.g., claim errors, antecedents, etc.).  In essence, the sidebar interface provides the same reviewing capabilities/interface as the individual proofreading tools, but placed in a single reviewing window.

The sidebar report opens up "docked" to either the right or left sides of the Word document, normally inside the task pane.  Use tabs in the sidebar to switch between different types of proofreading reports (e.g., claim errors, antecedents, etc.). You can also click on the "Claim Tree" tab to review the claim tree.

In addition, the following options are available at the bottom of the sidebar window:

    1. Click on the "Re-check document" button to rerun all of the proofreading reports on the document.  This could be done, for example, after making edits to the document to correct the issues. Clicking this button will re-run the reports with the same options as originally selected (i.e., basic, comprehensive, or custom).
    2. You can also quickly export the identified proofreading issued to HTML, PDF, or Word formats by clicking on any of the above buttons.  Clicking on these buttons will not re-run the proofreading checks, so the report generation will be quite fast.
