ClaimMaster lets you to quickly browse claims in the document, generate claim tree diagrams as images or text, and chart claims based on their position in the tree hierarchy.
To invoke claim viewing features, perform the following steps:
- Browse Claims in the Document
ClaimMaster lets you quickly browse the hierarchical tree of the claims present in the open Word document. You can also sort the claim tree based on various criteria, such as claim status identifiers or number of dependent claims. To access this feature, click on the Time-Saving Tools -> Visualize Claim Tree menu, then Browse Claim Tree:
The result will be a claim tree dialog that you can navigate – if you click on the node in that tree, ClaimMaster will take you to the location of that tree in your Word document:
- Generate Claim Tree Image
You can also generate an annotated image of the hierarchical claim tree, such as the one shown below. You can then copy & paste the image into your own documents. To generate the image of the claim tree, click on the Time-Saving Tools -> Visualize Claim Tree menu, then Print Claim Tree (Image):
The result will be a claim tree in a standard bubble form:
- Dynamic Claim Tree Map
ClaimMaster allows you to generate a claim tree with dynamically overlaid claim text. To generate such a map, click on the Time-Saving Tools -> Visualize Claim Tree menu, then Print Claim Tree (Image + Overlay Claim Text):
The result will be an image claim tree that shows claim text when you hover over claim bubbles, as shown below:
- Generate Textual Claim Tree
You can also generate the hierarchical tree of your claims in text form, such as the one shown below. You can then copy & paste the textual claim tree into your own documents or have ClaimMaster paste the claim tree into your documents automatically. To use this feature, click on the Time-Saving Tools -> Visualize Claim Tree menu, then Print Claim Tree (Text):
The result will be a textual claim tree:
- Generating hierarchically organized claim charts
Finally, ClaimMaster allows you to generate claim charts where individual claims are grouped based on their claim dependencies, such as the one shown below. Specifically, independent and their dependent claims will be grouped together and tabulated. To generate such a chart, click on the Time-Saving Tools -> Visualize Claim Tree menu, then Chart Claims Arranged by Dependencies:
The result will be a tabulated claim chart:
