ClaimMaster 2024.5 improves our patent proofreading tools with enhancements to core antecedent basis and part #/name checking tools.
New NLP engine and improved AB/Part # checking
First, we’ve added a completely new language processing engine, which improves all of our claim term analysis and reduces false positives with antecedent basis and part # checking. For this release, we’ve tested the new AB detection engine on thousands for published claims to further cut down on false positives and improve AB analysis. We also made it a bit easier to adjust term detection directly in the AB checking interface. If some AB issues are detected due to the terms being too long or short, you can right click on any such a term and have ClaimMaster re-run the analysis for either a longer or shorter version of the term (if available):
We’ve also added the ability to create exclude lists for reference names and numbers to reduce false positives in the reports. Such lists could include either full or partial names and numbers that ClaimMaster ignore when generating proofreading reports. Having such ignore lists will allow end-users to reduce false positives for the items that they know are not actual part names/numbers:
Improved PDF and HTML reports
We’ve completely redesigned our PDF reports, which now generate several times faster and also include better layout and visual error reporting. Here’s a sample of the new PDF report. If for some reason you do not like the new PDF report format, you can still revert to to the “original” PDF format by checking the “Generate classic PDF reports” checkbox in ClaimMaster’s “Patent Proofreading” preferences:
Finally, ClaimMaster 2024.5 includes improvements for reviewing part names/numbers in all-in-one HTML reports, especially for the terms that do not appear directly next to their associated parts. The improved HTML reports make it easy to review all related part name and number citations in the same table cell.
